While the content for HeavyMetalGeek.com may still be in the works at the moment, I took some time this weekend to create a logo for my new endeavor. I thought others may enjoy this for uses outside of just the website… say, to show off their headbangingly awesome geekitude. Thus, I’ve opened up my first CafePress webstore where, if people were so inclined, they could purchase a shirt exclaiming that while they may be a huge (sometimes socially awkward) geek, they know how to rock and roll with the best of ‘em! More designs on the way, and if anyone has any feedback on this particular design, feel free to comment or send an e-mail my way.

UPDATE: I’ve added a second design to the CafePress store that features more a prominent “Heavy Metal” portion of the logo. I think this design looks best on the dark shirts, so at the moment it is only featured on the dark men’s t-shirt. If anyone is interested in getting this printed on anything else, let me know and I’ll plunk down the Upgrade Fee for CafePress (since currently they only let me use one design per item). UPDATE (12-12-2008): The plans to release an entirely new Heavy Metal Geek website has been scrapped in favour of changing the name of this website. I think I must just like this site too much to let it pass away…
